A practical field guide
A short guide to the shared catalogue, your clinic formulary and the tools each role can use.
All getting-started topics
Maintain catalogue information, review imports and coordinate clinic access.
Shape your clinic’s formulary and invite prescribers where available.
Search and compare the products available in your clinic formulary.
No topics match that search. Try a broader word, or clear the search field.
01 / Getting oriented
02 / Browse with purpose
Type a product name, brand, terpene or strength into the search field above the relevant list. The database search and your formulary search are separate: clearing one leaves the other and all selected filters unchanged. Use its clear control to remove just that search phrase.
Clinics and prescribers can also search CBG, CBN or THCV, including alongside a product term such as CBN oil. A name-only cannabinoid search finds valid recorded non-zero values, including supplier less-than limits; it excludes missing, invalid and explicit zero values. A less-than limit is not an exact dose or proof of a measurable amount. For a specific strength, include the supplier unit, for example CBG 0.5%, CBN 10 mg/unit or THCV 2 mg/mL. Exact-strength searches do not match less-than limits or convert between units.
Category filters narrow the visible products by the options offered in the list. THC and price ranges let you set lower and upper bounds; move either end to focus on the interval you want. A range can be restored to its full span in the range controls. Filters can be combined with search.
Choose Compare on a product card, then select other products to add them to the comparison. The comparison view is intended to make product details easier to scan together. Strength values that use different units or measurement bases are not necessarily directly equivalent; read the displayed units and product details rather than assuming like-for-like.
03 / Role guide
The admin workspace is for maintaining the shared product database and managing clinic access. Catalogue edits can affect what clinic teams and prescribers see.
Use the import review to inspect the preview, resolve or skip issues, and confirm the intended changes before applying an import. Treat spreadsheet values as proposals to verify—not as automatically approved clinical facts. Check product identity, units, prices and source information. Only an admin should approve and apply catalogue imports.
Use the clinic access tools to select the intended clinic and invite the appropriate staff role. Confirm the recipient address and role before sending. An invitation is not the same as an active account; the invitee must complete the sign-up and redemption steps.
04 / Role guide
Use the database to discover entries, then add the products your clinic wants in its formulary. The formulary pane represents the clinic’s selected list; the catalogue remains the broader source to browse.
05 / Role guide
Your workspace is a focused view of the clinic formulary and shared product catalogue. Browse the database, then use the clinic formulary to see the products selected for your clinic.
06 / Invitations
Invitation email delivery may be configured for Resend testing or for a verified sender. In testing mode, delivery is restricted to the configured test recipient or supported simulation addresses; a simulated delivery address does not provide a real inbox for normal email confirmation.
Preview invitations use the connected app database and create real pending invitation records, even when email delivery is in test mode. They do not grant access until redeemed. Cancel test invitations when finished. Do not treat a preview as a separate test database.
Real delivery requires an explicitly configured verified sender and production settings. If an invitation does not arrive, confirm the intended address and check with the administrator responsible for the app setup. This guide does not provide a support contact or promise a delivery time.
07 / Shared changes
Look for the shared-catalogue status in the app header. It distinguishes connection/setup, pending changes, saving, confirmed saves and a save that needs attention. Prescriber access is read-only, so it does not show an editing save state.
FormuLink records Best Match requests, product detail views and “Copy for script” selections with account, clinic and time information. Authorised master administrators can review named prescriber activity; clinic reports show aggregate product activity. This helps identify catalogue demand and use of clinic formularies. These actions do not confirm prescriptions, dispensing or patient outcomes.
Usage reporting is best-effort and may be incomplete. “Last recorded activity” is not a sign-in record. Search text and patient notes are not collected as usage events. Never enter patient information into FormuLink.
08 / Responsible use
FormuLink is a product formulary, not a place to enter or store patient-identifying information. Do not put names, dates of birth, contact details, patient identifiers, case notes or other patient data into product names, search fields, imports, comments or any other app field.
Use only product and clinic information that belongs in the formulary workflow. If patient data is entered by mistake, follow your organization’s established privacy and incident process.
